L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation

I have found my HG foundation from a drugstore brand!

When I heard about L'Oreal's Infallible line last year, the first thing that got my attention was the foundation. This foundation is very gutsy because of their claim. Since the price was around USD12, I decided to buy one!

It doesn't have a pump but it has a nozzle which is hygienic as well. Just a little squeeze and the foundation comes out.

It claims that is has a semi-matte finish, wears up to 24 hours, has medium coverage with light texture. The 24hr claim is a big claim!

I got the shade Natural Beige because I think it's the usual flattering shade for Asian skin. It looks a bit dark on the swatch but it blends well on my face. Also, I don't like having a white cast on my face. I don't understand the hype of women wanting a whiter face than the rest of their body.

It doesn't look so dark once blended.

It probably matches my facial skin because I still have a tan from my beach trip last summer. This is how I look with one layer of L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte foundation. They claim it's demi-matte but for me it really is matte - the good kind of matte. You just have to blend quickly as it dries fast! At times, I don't even set it with powder because it already looks good on my skin. Since coverage is medium, expect to use concealer for big zits or dark spots like the one I have on my right cheek.

As for the staying power, I'd have to say it's superb! My makeup was intact all day long. I removed my makeup when I got home so I couldn't say if it lasted 24hrs but it definitely lasted more than 14hrs on my face. No retouch.

This foundation is not available here. The one they released is the Infallible Stay Fresh foundation. I'm not sure they are the same. That one is a lot expensive though at PhP700.
