Belo Intensive Whitening BB Cream*

A few weeks ago, I received Sample Room's latest product run which was from Belo Essentials. I got excited when I saw that it was a Belo PR kit because hello, it's Summer! I need all the whitening products I can get because I don't wanna be sporting tan lines for a long time. I was honestly stoked to see a BB cream - Belo Essentials' latest product! I've been waiting for the brand to eventually venture into makeup and this may be the start!

Belo Intensive Whitening BB Cream

Okay, a BB cream is not exactly makeup since it leans more as a skin care because of its properties. But still!

This BB cream only comes in one shade: medium to deep.
Don't be fooled by the shade though because if you look at the swatches below, I'd say it's really more of Fair to Light.

It might look so light at first but once you blend it to your skin, it seems like it has disappeared but made your face smoother. It was able to cover some of my freckles at the back of my palm.

Surprisingly enough, the shade blended really well on my skin. This BB cream has a tone correcting formula that evens out skin tone. Yes, I think so too. It also has Kojic Acid + Tranexamin Acid that whiten skin and reduce the appearance of dark spots. Haven't really noticed this one yet as I've been using this for a week only. It also has SPF50 so you're sure you're safe from UV rays.

This BB cream has a very smooth texture. It feels light when applied to my face although I can feel that it gets a little tacky. I have combination skin and this doesn't full set as matte on my face. I kinda dislike that I still have to set this with powder cos I can feel the tackiness every time I touch my cheeks. Just like most BB creams, it can't cover blemishes so you might need to apply concealer prior to using this. It wasn't able to hide my eye bags, too. Depending on your powder, this can last up to 8 hours. Used this once without using a setting powder and it only lasted for about 4 hours. I started to oil up, too. But then again, it doesn't have any mattifying claim. Lastly, it has a faint powdery scent that smells really good!

On my face: Belo Essentials BB Cream, RCMA No Color Powder, Heroin Make Quick Eyebrow in 01, and Sleek Matte in Birthday Suit.

Belo Intensive Whitening BB Cream is available at all leading department stores nationwide and all Watson's branches for PhP349.50.
