Rekindled Makeup Affair: MeMeMe Cosmetics Flawless Cream Foundation

I'm really sorry for the lack of posts. It's that time of the year again! We're packing up again and moving places! We're like this every August.

I've been destashing makeup and other beauty products since July because I have no space to stock them. I saw my then most coveted foundation which is the MeMeMe Flawless Cream Foundation. The ones you see on my photos are my second bottles.

The first thing I liked about this foundation is that it comes with a pump. Beauty enthusiasts will agree with me when I say that the #struggleisreal for pumpless foundation. The feel of the packaging is like NARS except that it doesn't gather dust at all. It's also an air-less pump that's why you see the foundation being pushed up as you slowly finish the foundation.

Swatches of Beige Blush and Honey Lush on my skin. I intentionally got two shades because I was confused which one would fit me best. I never thought of missing the two below as my trick to making a foundation work on me is to use either a lighter or darker setting powder. Honey Lush is the darker one.

Swatched/a bit blended on my skin. I like Honey Lush more because it turns lighter on me when it oxidises on me.

Beige Blush is my shade. But it turns lighter as it oxidizes on my face making it appear lighter then my entire skin. It doesn't look bad but sometimes I get too conscious when my face is too light.

Honey Lush works well on me. I don't really need to set it with a lighter powder. I just use a translucent powder to set this most of the time. This foundation has a loose powder partner although I already gave mine away. It works well with all the setting powders I have used anyway. One layer won't be able to cover all the imperfections on your face but it's decent enough to make your face facial skin look even. You just notice the difference you when take a closer look. I sometimes use this as concealer, too. Although I'm still more comfortable using concealer per se for a brightening effect.

The finish is semi-matte on me so if you really want a matte look, make sure to use a mattifying setting powder. It lasts on me for about 12 hours with minimal fading on the T-zone when I start to oil up.

I got this foundation from MakeupHub although their online shop is currently on hiatus. This is available locally thru online sellers only and retails for about PhP700-PhP800.
