Yes, yet another coffee shop conquered. If you can't tell that I'm a coffee lover by now then I don't know what gives. Hehe. There's a coffee shop near our condo so we decided to try it after we've scoured all the hidden coffee shops in San Juan (or so we think). Just a little disclaimer, these photos are from last year - during the coffee shop's soft opening.
My mom was probably one of the happiest people when SNR opened in Mandaluyong. She's just always there. Haha! SNR's Mandaluyong branch is quite different from their BGC branch because of the establishments outside. When I saw that there is a coffee shop, told L that we have to pay that coffee shop a visit!
L paying for our orders.
They have their own version of cookie butter.
On to the 2nd floor.
They're not limited to coffee and pastries. They serve meals.
I love the interior of this place. Digging the industrial feel. Don't you notice that most coffee shops now have this vibe? Observe.
Croughnut, donut, coffee, and fries. Weird combination!
Shaw Boulevard was our view. Mm-hmm.
Their coffee was good and so was their croughnut. However, I'm done with my croughnut phase. The fries were okay. Nothing special for all our orders. I would probably go back to Scarsdale because it's quite near and because my tastebuds no longer like Starbucks for some reason.
Let me know if you've tried Scarsdale. Any food recommendation?
Follow me! No? Yes? Yey!
Haven't tried this coffee shop yet and I must agree, fries with coffee is quite unique. (^-^)
ReplyDeleteBTW, I hope you can try Hanamaruken at The Grove by Rockwell one of these days. Diba fave nyo po lately ang ramen? Tell me when you plan to drop by para pupunta rin ako! LOL. Kahit dun na lang kita ma-meet Miss Gem. Wasn't able to join the Maybelline event yesterday kase (T_T) I heard and saw in IG that it was a success! Congrats!
The place looks really nice! Nakakaganang puntahan. I wish I could drop by the place soon. Pag marunong nang magdrive si bf. :) Medyo mahirap kasing magexplore pag commute, especially galing pa kami sa antipolo. :/ I think I would love the croughnuts and the fries. :)
ReplyDeleteWorth a try nman. Cozy rin yung place :)
ReplyDeleteSige try ko yun soon :)
ReplyDeleteDrinking coffee and eating fish crackers (weird combination too? :D ) as I read this at home. Always nice to read the posts of a fellow coffee-lover! Looks like a nice, quite, comfortable place. I wonder what those green donuts are in the fourth picture! And I wonder why you've already outgrown Starbucks. :)
ReplyDeleteStarbucks is suddenly too creamy for me. Also, their service has downgraded to poor. Their blend is no longer consistent. I even switched from Starbucks to Dunkin Donut ides coffee for my daily caffeine fix :)
ReplyDeleteScrolling down my Facebook news feed, I saw this post of yummy looking doughnuts and coffee. This makes me want to eat it soon when I can finally chew already. :( But I am definitely off to buy coffee right now. Haha. Can't control my cravings :(
ReplyDeleteThanks for your reply, Ms. Gem. I'm not a big fan of Starbucks myself and I think there are better options that are easier on the pocket. :)
ReplyDeleteparang naligaw ata si fries? hehe. the croughnut looks delish! i like coffee but since my sugar level went up, paminsan-minsan nalang ako umiinom. di narin ako masyado fan ng starbucks. sometimes i think it's overrated. nae-enjoy ko yung sa j.co minsan sa krispy kreme. :D :D
