Food Escapade at The Nook Café

I'll let you in on a secret. I'm a hardcore Harry Potter fan. My heart beats fast and slow at the same time when I'm reading the books, when I'm watching the movies, and when I went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I swear, my jaw literally dropped when I got there.

Then I found out that there's a newly opened coffee shop in Quezon City with a Harry Potter theme. I was like, 'get outta here! I HAVE to visit that place! So, L and I went yesterday and once again, I felt like I was in a magical place.

Gryffindor Boy and Slytherin Girl went on a date on what felt like a mini 3 Broomsticks in Hogsmeade.

If you are not familiar with Maginhawa Street in Quezon City, you have to look closely at the establishments or else, you'll miss The Nook. We missed it by two houses so we had to turn around. We were able to park across the café.

The place was full when we got there and we were lucky that the people sitting outside left after 20 minutes or else we would have stayed on the high chair until our food was served.

The Nook's counter. They already have the Harry Potter Funko Pops! I'm envious! Then, there's a mural on the wall as if you are inside the castle. Photo below.

They have a second floor and this is what you'll see when you reach the second floor. Letters.

Attempt #2 with my Slytherin scarf!
Guys, I swear, pantay yung kilay ko!
Ewan why it's not even on the photo lol!

The food was good and it was actually what we had for (late) lunch. We were full! It's the first time I've tried chicken that's wrapped on bacon! They don't have a lot on their menu yet but I do hope they'll have more food to offer soon. We weren't able to order coffee because we were already full. That means there will be a next time!

PS. I got a few stares from people who were there because hey saw me holding my wands. It's a Harry Potter theme coffee shop, muggles! What, witches and wizards can't visit? LOL! Good thing the owner complimented my wands. We understand each other =)

The Nook Café is located at 164-A Maginhawa Street, Quezon City.

  5. Ang saya naman! The food looks yummy.

  8. And I was about to ask if that wand was provided by the cafe. LOL. Those chicken wrapped in bacon looks delicioso! And yes, I think I saw that Goya-Zilla post of yours on IG.. or was that in FB? (^-^) I also loved Harry Potter but I'm pretty sure, you're the more legitimate HP fan, Miss Gem.

BTW, yung scarf, sayo din yun, right? =)
