Avène Gentle Milk Cleanser*

There's no denying that I love Avène. As a matter of fact, I don't even remember being this in love with a skin care brand. Ever.

One of the products given to me by the brand was their milk cleanser. I was a bit hesitant to use this as first and I didn't have any expectations at all because I was fairly new to the brand.

But this simple looking cleanser is one the things that made my skin looking flawless since April.

A pea-sized amount of product is all you need to clean our face. In my case though, I used this loosely because the product was about to expire in 3 month's time. I used this in 4 times a day. Twice in the morning and twice at night. I found out thought that I was using this the wrong way all this time, LOL! After massaging this on my face, I let it stay for a few seconds before I wash it off with water. Then I found out that you don't have to use water to wash it off! All you need to do is wipe it off. Haha!

This product is amazing! It's non-drying. It gives the exact amount of moisture on my face. My face feels smoother and supple after wash. This product works well with very sensitive skin so you don't have to worry if this will work for you or not. The only thing that will set you back though from getting this product is its price It retails for PhP1,480 for 200mL. Quite expensive for a facial wash. But guys, it's totally worth it!

Let me know if you've tried this. I want to know if you will love this, too!

Follow me! No? Yes? Yey!

  1. Yes, Ms. Gem. My only issue with Avene was the price. But if i could afford this, i would have no second thoughts on purchasing. I am currently using Celeteque Brightening Facial Wash and it's almost empty. I want to try other brands but i haven't decided yet which one to buy.

  2. I have done some research on Avene and I have not encountered one unsatisfied user yet which could only mean that this brand really delivers. But like what you've said, it is expensive. If only I had more bucks, I would've tried Avene products a long time ago. (^-^) I've read this one's soap-free and has Vitamin E pa naman. Clean and moisturise at the same time, perfect for a lazy woman like myself. Haha.
Thanks for sharing this with us. I would put this again in my bucket list =)

  6. I bet it's really wonderful if you love it so much! I guess it's the kind of item I'd get only if I want to reward myself with something luxurious. What alternatives would you recommend for those on a shoestring budget? Thanks!

  17. I may still be a noob when it comes to make up but my love for skin cleansers has started at an early stage. I actually saw some Avène products on Sample Room but they are always out of stock. I hope I can try them soon when I ran out of a lot of facial cleansers. In my case, since umaasa pa din akong maging poreless, I am using Korean beauty products these days and I am loving them especially the products they use on their daily skin care routine. I don't know if you've tried them out too because I am a new follower, but maybe you can try them too if you haven't. :)

  19. Aww. I am hoping to buy Wonder Pore this month. I have combination skin. Walang nangyari when you used wonder pore? I'll wait for your Olay review. :)
