Latest Skin Care: L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser X3

Last Friday, L'Oreal officially launched a new skin care! It's their first anti-aging skin care line that challenges the use of laser in the medical field. They sampled this on 100 hardworking women in the Metro and checked weekly for results. In a matter of four weeks, their skin looked way less stressed!

Scarsdale Artisanal Delights

Yes, yet another coffee shop conquered. If you can't tell that I'm a coffee lover by now then I don't know what gives. Hehe. There's a coffee shop near our condo so we decided to try it after we've scoured all the hidden coffee shops in San Juan (or so we think). Just a little disclaimer, these photos are from last year - during the coffee shop's soft opening.

Unboxing the (2015) July BDJ Box: Prepped and Polished*

This day is a day filled with packages, I love it! It feels a lot like Christmas! But before we even get excited about Christmas, let's deal with the rainy weather first. July is always a rainy month although I gotta say that it hasn't rained so much this month in Manila. Thank you, shady weather! Sometimes we never know how hard the rain will pour so it's best that we always prepare ourselves and our look even on the rain. And if you're a busy person that's always on the go, the products on this month's box is supposed to help you look polished in a jiffy!

12 items. Half of the items are full-sized! Yes!

So Hot it Pops! Colourpop Lippie Stix!

The most-awaited post is finally here! You know you've been waiting for this post, too, after I posted two teasers!

Alright, if you're a beauty enthusiast like me, then you've probably heard about Colourpop Cosmetics. If this brand is new to you, let me lure you to my current addiction. This is also one of the reasons why I decided to let go majority of my makeup and just kept the essentials. Well, essentials and a bunch of Coloupop Cosmetics.

Colourpop Cosmetics is an online cosmetics shop based in L.A., California. The brand currently focuses on lipsticks, lip liners, eyeshadows, blush, highlighters and bronzers. What makes the brand the talk of the town (for a year now) is the fact that they are very affordable despite the very good quality of their products! USD5 for lipsticks, lip liners, and eyeshadows? USD8 for blush, highlighter, and bronze? You'd be crazy not to try not even one or two. For me, I ended up having 25 items from the brand. I have low EQ. Sew me.

Let me jumpstart my Colourpop posts with their most popular product, Lippie Stix.

I said I was gon try just one. I ended up with 14 Lippie Stix. Oops.

L'Oreal Paris Miss Manga False Lash Mascara*

By now, you guys know me as the girl with short sad lashes. I've already accepted the fact that I have short lashes so I like most products that make them long. I haven't been loyal to one mascara for awhile because I don't use them daily not until this year. 2015 has got to be the year of the Mascara for me. It seems like I receive a new mascara every month!

Last March, I attended the launch of L'Oreal Paris' latest product in Manila which is Miss Manga mascara! I've known this for a while since it was released last year or so in other countries. It's a good thing that it's finally available locally! Beauty enthusiasts love it when it happens!

Oh, Miss Manga, how long we've waited for you.

Did you know that this mascara is meant for Asian lashes? Yes! Find out below!

I'll let you in on a secret. I'm a hardcore Harry Potter fan. My heart beats fast and slow at the same time when I'm reading the books, when I'm watching the movies, and when I went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I swear, my jaw literally dropped when I got there.

Then I found out that there's a newly opened coffee shop in Quezon City with a Harry Potter theme. I was like, 'get outta here! I HAVE to visit that place! So, L and I went yesterday and once again, I felt like I was in a magical place.

Chanel Perfection Lumière Velvet & Chanel Vitalumière Aqua

When I was a makeup noob, getting to try Chanel was like a dream come true to me. I used to take this brand for granted because I thought that you were just paying for the brand. Sometimes, I still think that. But when I broadened my view on makeup and realised why expensive makeup is expensive, I gave in and closed my eyes, gave my credit card to Chanel's SA in their Elements branch and left as fast as I could so that I wouldn't be even more tempted to add another product on my purchase.

Just to be clear, I didn't buy these foundations in one go. I had Vitalumière Aqua first. The one on the photo is already my third bottle. I got Perfection Lumière Velvet last year, a month after it was officially launched.

I know what you're going to ask me now. Which one is better?

L'oreal Paris Color Riche Lipstick in Fairest Nude

Among all the Youtubers out there, Hollyannaeree's opinion is the one I trust the most. We have a lot of things in common. We even use the same shade in MAC. We both love nude lipsticks! When she said that one of her all-time favourite nude lipsticks is L'Oreal's Fairest Nude, I searched high and low just to get hold of this lipstick.

I tell you, it wasn't easy. This is almost always out of stock even in the States! When I found out this was available in Target, I got myself 4 tubes. Yes, hoarder alert!

Revlon Photoready Airbrush Mousse Makeup

Several makeup brands have come up with liquid foundation that claim to have an airbrush finish. When I first heard about it, I was like, 'Meh. It's impossible!' One of the first few brands I saw was Sephora's take on it. Reviews online were so-so.

Upon realising Revlon came up with their own version, I thought twice whether to try this or not. But they are too smart to release it under their Photoready line! So, maybe it's worth a try. I loved their Photoready liquid foundation to bits!

J'Adore Les Levres with Sweetpea & Fay Cosmetics

Liquid lipsticks are really in for the past 3 or 4 years now. It's not my usual cup of tea for the sole reason that it feels much like a lipgloss (except the matte liquid lipsticks). I didn't easily join the bandwagon.

When Digital Traincase released new products and brands, Sweetpea & Fay Cosmetics was one of them. What product in particular? Liquid lipsticks! I was like 'meh' but when they put it on sale last year, I decided to give it a try!

I actually forgot about this already because I misplaced that particular eco bag I used during the Supersale bazaar and these liquid lipsticks were in it. Found it recently when I was unpacking to pack.

Food Escapade at Woo Galbi

L and I had a Korean food phase. Our all time favourite is samgyeupsal. Masarap kasi talga! While walking around Shangri-La's new wing, we passed by Woo Galbi. We asked first if they have samgyeupsal as not all Korean restaurants offer it (apparently).

When they told us they did, we made sure to come dine there the next time we visit the mall. We already had dinner when we passed by. The next time we visisted, we knew we were in for a treat!

Hi guys, as promised, here's batch 2 of my blog sale for the month! More after the jump!

Lengthy and Volumized Lashes Made Possible with VNC Mascara*!

Two months ago, I was invited to an intimate product launch. I admit that I was a bit worried at first because I googled the brand and couldn't find enough sources about the mascara. But then I decided that it's also a good way to know the brand!

Meet VNC 3D Fiber Mascara and find out how effective this mascara is!

Avène Gentle Milk Cleanser*

There's no denying that I love Avène. As a matter of fact, I don't even remember being this in love with a skin care brand. Ever.

One of the products given to me by the brand was their milk cleanser. I was a bit hesitant to use this as first and I didn't have any expectations at all because I was fairly new to the brand.

But this simple looking cleanser is one the things that made my skin looking flawless since April.

Food Escapade at Honolulu Coffee

Did you know that Japan makes good coffee, too? There are a lot of coffee shops around Japan that it's difficult to choose! On our last day in Osaka, my cousin and I were able to grab some coffee and unwind at one of the coffee shops we passed by.

Honestly, this wasn't my first choice but the one I wanted to try was another block away and we couldn't afford wasting more time! So, let's take a look how reminiscent Honolulu Cafe is of Hawaii!

What's Hot? Colourpop Cosmetics!

I'm honestly torn whether I'm letting these babies go or keep them! So far, I've only disposed probably 20% of my makeup and while these are in the Colourpop box, I still have several lippie stix that are in my acrylic organiser. Note that the ones you see on the photos are backups (except for the Metamorphosis eyeshadow).

Asking for input, guys!

Best Travel Palette: Lorac Pro To Go Palette

I have been always in the look out for a travel makeup palette. I'm quite specific though. I prefer the ones with eyeshadows and blush/bronzers only. I stay away from the ones with lipgloss because I'm not a lipgloss person. When I found out that Lorac has to "to-go" palette, I knew I had to have one or two.

Matte-nificent Red Lipsticks!*

With the recently concluded L'Oreal Paris Collection Star Matte Reds giveaway, a lot of women got so hyped up guessing the correct name of the collection! It was such a fun giveaway! When I found out that the focus of this collection were red shades, I only hoped for one thing - that I'll find the red shade I'm looking for. I want a specific red shade and I already have it in different brands but if you were to give me another one, who am I to refuse? I love the variety (of brands)!

When I saw the lipsticks on Instgram, I already knew which one I was gunning for. I'm glad they L'Oreal released that shade!
