L'Oreal Super Liner (Ultra Sharp)*

Time and again, I've always said that if there is one makeup product that I can't live without, it's definitely eyeliner. As we speak, I'm actually debating myself whether that still holds true as I've been skipping eyeliner on certain days when I'm running late but still making sure my brows are filled in. Hmmm, things that happen when you grow old.

During the L'Oreal Miss Manga launch, we were allowed to get a few items. I got a liquid foundation, powder blush, and a lipstick. I exchanged "notes" with Aya and Raych one what they got and Aya showed me the eyeliner. I didn't give much thought about L'Oreal's eyeliner cos I've been skipping it but then I realised that I wasn't that sold on the lipstick that I got. Might as well exchange it with the eyeliner as I've never tried an eyeliner from the brand.

I'm glad I exchanged the lipstick with this eyeliner.

L'Oreal wasn't kidding when they named this liner Ultra Sharp.

Very fine tip of the brush. The brush is shorter than usual.

Upward and downward strokes.

You know I have eyeliner on but somehow it doesn't look overdone.

My peepers still look natural, yes?

Closer look.

You can't even see the line when my eyes are closed.

But.It's.There.

My freaking gosh! I love this eyeliner! This is the thinnest eyeliner I have tried so far. 0.04mm! Well, there seems to be a contender so I gotta look for that eyeliner in my stash and give them a battle to check which one is thinner. I thought I would have a hard time with application cos the brush was short but I didn't have a hard time lining my eyes! Another major fact to love about this eyeliner is that it doesn't transfer on my lids. I didn't use an eye primer the first time I used this to see how well it holds on an oily lid. No transfer. No smearing. The line was intact the whole day. Didn't fade one bit. It's waterproof and water-resistant but can be easily removed by any makeup remover.

I haven't used this liner for a winged-line because I think I've finally outgrown it. I'm pretty sure though it won't be difficult to create a winged-line with this very sharp liner.

As you all know, L'Oreal is having their month-long sale right now! You can get this for only PhP400! I'm not sure what the original price is but getting this for PhP400 is a great deal! Other brands that have great eyeliners retail for at least PhP500.

Found another makeup staple! Leave your comment below if you've tried this.  L'Oreal is available at all SM department stores, Watson's, and Landmark.

Follow me! No? Yes? Yey!

I love using eye liner especially night out! Hehe. I'm not really that good on putting smokey eye shadow that's why I'm using eye liner instead. But the gel eye liner type. I think this is good on the go talaga! Hope I can buy before June. Kota na me this month! :D

  8. I used to love gel liners but liquid liners are really easier and faster to use so I decided to stop using gel liners muna. Do buy this before the month ends. Sayang rin ang sale :)

  11. I have to agree that this is one, if not the thinnest liquid liner that I have seen. Hindi ko masyado kasundo ang gel liners so I kept coming back to liquid liner. However, I haven't tried pen liquid liner (if that's the correct term =] )

  12. Try mo yung sa essence kasi mura lang. Para ok lang if you end up not liking it :)

Thanks for this review, Ms. Gem! Grabe I was really finding a good eyeliner with a thin tip cause I kinda such at applying it. I am currently using Maybelline Eyestudio (PEncil Eyeliner) to line my eyes and it is pretty good. But my problem is the hassle sharpening. Sometimes, when I'm on the go, I tend to forget to bring a sharpener so I decided to shift with a pen-like eyeliner like this. Will definitely try this one out.

  18. Unfortunately, this smudged on me. I still love the Heroine Make or Majolica Majorca eyeliners for the uber long-lasting formula.

  19. Wuuuuuuut. I used to love Majolica Majorca but it eventually smudged on me or maybe because it was already bleeding out :(
