Food Escapade at Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen

Ramen is in.  As if you don't know that by now.  It's fascinating how ramen houses pop out left and right here in Metro Manila.

L and I decided to try one of the famous ramen houses in Manila to see what the fuss is all about.  We tried it on one of those unexpected nights, too.  We were in Rockwell for an errand or something and when we checked the time, it was already dinner time.  Not knowing where to eat, we passed by Ikkoryu Kukuoka Ramen and said, "why not?"

Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen's best seller
I wonder though if this restaurant is a franchise from Fukuoka.  One thing that got me interested with this restaurant is the word "Fukuoka" as I've always wanted to go there.

So, yeah, L ordered the best seller while I ordered this ramen below.  I think it's miso based (and I hope I am not confusing this with other ramens I have tried).

Seriously, guys. I tried to be a fan of ramen but it really didn't work out.  Halway through eating my ramen, I gave up and ordered something else.  I just can't finish a bowl of ramen.  Can't.

Is this Chirashi.  I can't even remember.
This costs PhP160 though!  What?!

I've eaten at Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen for about 5 times now but never ordered ramen again.  It's not that I don't like it.  I just can't decipher the taste from the others that I've tried.  Let me know on the comment section if you're not a fan of ramen, too!

Follow me! No? Yes? Yey!
