I have a love and hate relationship with primers. Sometimes, they are so effective and other times, they are bleh. It's probably the reason why I haven't tried a lot of primers.
But when I saw Maybelline's Baby Skin on the Maybelline counter, I.just.had.to.get.it I just had to.
So, it's supposed to make your skin glow in a pinkish kind of way.
Did it?
When I first swatched it, I was shocked that it's really baby pink! It has a bit of sheen which is hardly seen on the photo. It's also not that visible when you apply it on your face. So, it's all good in the hood. No need to worry whether your face will shine like a diamond upon using this.

Maybelline Instant Pink Transformer + translucent powder
+ brow powder
After applying Instant Pink Transformer and letting it dry for a minute, I set it with a translucent powder without putting on any foundation. I wanted to know if it could really make my face glow. It might not be that obvious in the photos but with the help of the Instant Pink Transformer, parts of my face where light usually hits were extra brighter. It obviously can't cover dark spots so I guess it would be better to use a concealer on top of this primer. I didn't bother using this under a liquid foundation because I don't think it can still make my face glow after that. This is best used when you want something light on your face say, a loose powder with light to medium coverage.
Sadly, I don't remember where I purchased this but I remember getting at least 2 tubes. But this is definitely less than 10USD. I kind of don't see the point of using this I don't need to make my face glow or at least not the way this product makes my skin "glow" so I'd have to say I won't be repurchasing this product.
I haven't seen a lot of reviews about this product so if you've tried this, let me know your thoughts!
Happy Friday everyone! It's the last day of October y'all!
