BDJ Elite Box Featuring Heroine Make!

I'm probably the last person unboxing BDJ's latest Elite Box. I also think I'm the last one who has received the box. The box was delivered to me last week but since I was out of the country, I was only able to unbox it 6 days later.

When BDJ announced that they were going to release another Elite box, I got so excited because of what I saw. The anime reminded me so much of Sailor Moon. The second thing that came to my mind was those other Japanese makeup brands I usually see in Sasa.

Heroine Make. Heroine Make?

Pampering Time at Takshing Health Care and Beauty Center*

I received Takshing GCs from Sample Room last month.  It got me curious because it was the first time I've heard of Takshing and electrotherapy massage. Say what now?

I immediately searched on everyone's online best friend, Google.  Found Takshing's website and finally was able to get some clarity on electrotherapy massage.

What is electrotherapy massage exactly?

There are a lot of third-wave coffee shops opening around the Metro.  Athough it's not exactly a bad thing, sometimes you just can't keep up with all them coffee shops.  And I'm trying my best to visit every coffee shop.  I got this idea from a very good friend of mine!

I found out about Toby's Estate Coffee Roasters though on Instagram.  I was checking the photos that hit the popular page and I saw a photo that pretty much reminded me of NYC Subway only it's a coffee shop.  Yeh, it pretty much gives that vibe.  I clicked on the photo and location of the coffee shop.  What excited me more was that it's located inside a mall!  I went to that branch to see what's up but it was wrong timing as we just had early dinner and we were too full to even take anything.  Also, it's designed as a walk-thru coffee shop.  You basically have your coffee to go.

So, we visited their other branch located somewhere in Salcedo Village.

What's else could be on the menu of a coffee shop?

A Scent to Love: Clean Perfume

When I was younger, I used to have crushes on guys for the sole reason that they smell good. There's something about a scent of a person that draws me to them. This is not limited to living things only. I also have a bad habit smelling the food before tasting it. If I don't like the smell, I will not eat it.

So, you see, I have a thing for things (living and non-living) that smell good. This also means that I like to smell good all of the time. Yes, all of the time.

I'm one of those people who practically can not live without perfume or cologne. I've kind of grown out a bit of this habit but there are still days when I feel that something is missing just because I forgot to spray on some scent on my skin or clothes.

I always get questions about the perfume I wear. Sometimes, I tell people. Often times, I don't. I half-kid that it's my secret weapon (it kinda is though). I don't know, it's just that I think disclosing the perfume I use is too personal and I will have to answer the question Why. Okay, a little trivia here: I've been using men's perfume for the longest time. It's only when I started working that I slowly shifted to women's perfumes. So, now I thought of sharing with you one of the scents that I've been wearing lately. Just because.

Food Escapade at Franco's

A couple of Saturdays ago, my parents and I had lunch at Franco's.  My dad wanted to eat elsewhere but it was full and he didn't want to wait.  Franco's wasn't full yet so I was able to convince my dad.

I wanted to try this restaurant for the longest time because it's by Myron's Place and I love Myron's!!

What does Franco's have in store for us?

Pampering Time at Tips N' Toes

A few weeks ago, I was invited by Dang to the opening of Tips N' Toes Blue Bay branch.  I confirmed my attendance as I love Tips N' Toes.  You see, I like acrylic nails.  It was something very common back in high school.  When I moved back here, I had a hard time looking for a nail salon that offer acrylic nail service but Tips N' Toes has it.  So, yes, they had me at acrylic nails.

Something came up though that the venue was moved to Glorietta 5 branch which was better and easier for me as I no longer have to drive.  When I got there, I actually had not decided yet what service I'll try.  But I left Tips N' Toes super happy with my nails.

Acrylic nails, aye?

Well, you're just about to find out!

Food Escapade at Backyard Coffee

I saw a photo of a coffee yesterday on Instagram and there was a location that indicated "Backyard Coffee'.  I instantly clicked the name to see where it is located.  I was stoked to find out it's near my house so I decided to visit this new coffee place tonight.

I also tried to Google the coffee place but there was no posts about it yet aside from Pepper.ph mentioning that it opened last June 19 only.  Can't find the actual post about it though.

The place wasn't hard to find.  Actually, you can't miss it because there are a lot of establishments on the first floor. You can park on the basement and walk up to the 2nd floor.  The elevator ain't working at the moment.

Ah, a new coffee place to chill at.
Tickles my fancy.

Let's see what's Backyard Coffee has in store for us, coffee lovers!

Celeteque Hair & Scalp Care Clarifying Shampoo

Another hair care post. On a roll, aye?  Just a coincidence, love.

A few months ago, while I was going around SM department store, I chanced upon this new product of Celeteque.  I didn't know they have a shampoo.  When I asked the saleslady, she said the shampoo arrived about a week ago.  The saleslady said it's ought to clean your hair the way most shampoos can't, so I decided to try this.  It does not have a conditioner to pair with so I was kinda worried about that.

I was on a Snoe Beauty product streak last year.  I've always been curious about the brand but I kind of wanted the rave to die down a bit before I try it.  Well, the rave didn't really waver.

After years of debating, I finally tried their hair products.  I think the salesladies in Cinderella and Landmark Makati were finally relieved that I finally bought the products.  I've been lurking on their stalls/kiosks for the longest time they already know me by first name. Ha!

Last week, KrisTV featured a Thai restaurant near our house.  My mom was able to watch the episode and wanted to eat there.  So, we went during lunch time.

Honestly,  I wasn't that excited because I an not a fan of Thai cuisine.  Most of the food is spicy and I don't like spicy food.

I had no clue what to order.

So, what do you think I ordered?
