Rimmel London and Kate Moss' collaboration took the world by storm. Everyone wanted to get their hands on this lipstick. Of course, I was one of those women who wanted to get hold of this! I got curious because it's matte and the price is affordable, too!
Shades 107 and 101
So, is this lipstick worth the hype? Let's see!
Lasting Finish Matte by Kate Moss comes in 10 shades. The most famous one is Shade 111 called Kiss of Life. From swatches I've seen online, it looks like a very rich red. It's something nice to have. But then I already have enough rich red lipsticks. I chose Shade 101. It's a baby pink shade that reminds me of MAC Angel. I ordered from Honeyz Cosmetics Shop. The owner was kind enough to send me another lipstick of my choice. So, I chose 107 which some people say is similar to MAC Rebel.

I like these lipsticks primarily because they are matte. If you've been reading this blog, you'd know I really love matte lipsticks. Another thing I love about these lipsticks is that it's really affordable. I gotta admit I don't know/remember how much this costs but it probably won't be higher PhP350 per tube. That's not so bad for an imported lipstick. What's amazing about this matte lipstick is that it's not that drying on my lips. Yes, it does, at times, settle on lip lines but it's tolerable (or maybe the shades I chose also factors in). Shade 101 fades fasters on my lip because it's a light shade. It starts to fade on the 3rd hour. As for shade 107, it starts to fade on the 4th hour and leaves a just bitten shade on my lips. Just like any other lipstick, this has a scent. I can't tell if I like or dislike the scent. It reminds me of scented rosary. It smells like a rose. Not that common for a lipstick scent, aye?
When I don't have makeup on, that's when I usually whip out shade 107 to give my face some life of colour. On most days, I wear shade 101 for my pa-girly look.
Let me know if you've tried this lipstick and how you like it!
