I almost didn't want to publish this post.  I lost the receipt so I forgot the ahems and the prices of the food that we ordered. Boo hoo.

But hey, I thought I'd share it anyway because Balboa is worth dining for.

I don't remember why or who chose Balboa but this was where we dined for Lawrence's birthday last April.  We weren't expecting much for the food except for hoping that it would taste okay.  Little did we know that we were in for a surprise.

Mom's order: Salad 1 around PhP350

Anna's order: Salad 2 around PhP350

Porterhouse steak with baked mac around PhP1,500

Seafood Risotto around PhP500

Vongole Pasta around PhP500

Everything that we ordered tasted so good, as in so good!  The steak was medium well and we loved its tenderness.  The risotto was to good to be true!  No lansa! My favourite of them all was the vongole.  I love vongole pasta and Balboa's rendition of vongole is immediately a favourite.  It hits all the right taste at once!

There were 5 of us that dined that day - 4 adults and 1 child. Allen ordered chicken and my mom said it's so crispy and delicious!  We were all talking about how we thin we have found a new favourite restaurant!

Balboa is located on the 3rd Floor of Shangri-la East Wing Mall.

Follow me! Yes? No? Yey!
