K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo Lasting Eyebrow Pencil in Natural Brown

I am not sure if I've said it before but I'd say it now, doing my eyebrows is the least thing I like on makeup application.  It takes too much of my time.  6 years of applying makeup and I'm still such a noob when it comes to lining, shaping, and filling in my brows.  I kid you not.

I prefer using eyebrow powder because I find it easier to apply.  I really try to veer away from eyebrow pencils because I just suck at it.  BUT!  Of course, there's a but!

I saw this K-Palette Eyebrow Pencil at Sasa and couldn't let go if it when I saw the price!

Yes, HKD55 only!

I wasn't planning to buy this but when I saw the price and converted it to PhP, it would only round up to PhP330.  K-Palette is kind of expensive here in Manila.  Also, the last time I checked, this eyebrow pencil is not available in Manila.  What's usually available is the liquid eyebrow liner (?).  But I could be wrong.

You might find this a tad shorter than other eyebrow pencils.

After lining and filling in my brows, this is how it looks on my left brow.

When I saw this at Sasa, they had three shades available: Dark Brown, Natural Brown, and Gray.  I found Dark Brown to be too dark to I opted for Natural Brown.

Truth be told, I find it so hard to work my way with this pencil.  The shade is lighter than I expected that I need to fill in my brows several times to get the shade that I like.  I really should have gotten Dark Brown. I usually take longer when I am using this pencil as I am not used to using an eyebrow pencil.  It takes me about 15 minutes to do my brows when using this, give or take.  However, I like the fact that it comes with a spoolie brush at the bottom as it's very handy.  The pencil doesn't tug and it applies smoothly on my brows.  However, you'd still need a brow mascara to make the strands of your eyebrows brown.  As you can see on the picture, the hair stayed black.  It's only noticable though up close.  From afar, it's, well, natural brown.  Another thing that I like about this is that it stays on until I remove it.

I'll be using this pencil to practice my eyebrow drawing skillz.  Once I master it, then maybe I'll buy this eyebrow pencil again in a darker shade.  But until then, I'll rely on the cheaper eyebrow pencils for practice.

Please do let me know if this is available here in Manila as I have not seen this particular pencil at Beauty Bar.
