E.L.F. Studio Powder Brush

One of the things that I can't stop buying are brushes - particularly if I am drawn to that particular brush.  Flat top brushes have always been my thing.  I use it to apply and set my foundation.  From time to time, I switch to other kinds of foundation brushes.  But I always always go back to using flat top brushes.  Hence, having about 7 flat top brushes from different brands.

A tad exagerrated, right?

Now, I'm doing a quick review on E.L.F.'s Powder brush because I've had this for a little over a year and I haven't really stopped using this.  I took a break from using it for about a few weeks.  But I always find myself grabbing this brush.

E.L.F. Powder Brush, PhP249.50
available at all leading department stores
When I first used this, I was actually disappointed.  You see, I like dense flat top brushes AND you need dense flat top brushes if you want to use it to apply your liquid or cream foundation to your face.  Well, this brush isn't at all dense.  It's as soft as mineral brushes.  Thing is, I never opened it before buying it so I had no idea it wasn't dense.  So, I had to make use of this brush because I didn't want my money to go to waste.

The bristles are kind of spread out a bit
compared to other flat top brushes,

I use this with my loose powders to set my foundation.  At certain times, I also use this with my compact powders for touch-ups.  It is a great brush to set your foundation.  I use this brush everyday and I guess that means I love it.  I'm also glad that despite having abused this brush by using it daily and deep cleaning it, the bristles are still intact and do not show any signs of it falling out any time soon.  Therefore, I have maximized my PhP249.50 with this brush!

I will actually repurchase this brush once it gives up on me.  I prefer using soft brushes when setting my powder then dense brushes.

Have you tried this brush?  What are your thoughts on this?
