Ben Nye Conceal All Wheel in NK-1

Concealer is one makeup product that I don't just buy.  I've used MAC concealers for the longest time - and when I say longest, I mean when I started collecting makeup.  Sure, I've tried other brands but I always go back to MAC.

Then there was Ben Nye Conceal-All Wheel.

Isn't it amazing that the round container contains 4 shades of concealer?  That's value for money.

My face after applying Ben Nye Concealer all over my face.

It pretty much covered the blemishes of my face.  So, do I love it?  Truth be told, I have a love and hate relationship with this product.  I've read and watched reviews about this product and a lot of the reviews said that this concealer blends easily.  But I don't know.  It doesn't always blend easily on my skin.  For some odd reason, none of the shades matches my skin tone exactly.  This is why I find a hard time concealing my pimples and my other red or dark spots on my face.

So, here's how I use the four shades of Ben Nye concealer:
Light - the lightest shade in the wheel. I use this to brighten my eyes and I apply tho on my eyebags.  I use the inverted triangle technique when applying the lightest shade.  However, this is the most barely used concealer among the 4 shades.

Salmon - this is the shade that has a pink undertone.  I actually use this an eye brightener at times.  This is a better eye brightener than the lightest shade.  This shade reminds me of Benefit's Erase Paste.  Sometimes I mix this with the darkest shade of concealer to cover my blemishes.

Medium - this is the most used concealer among the four.  I use this to cover my blemishes.  It helps lessen the redness of my face but somehow I'm not that convinced with its concealing capabilities.

Dark - I used this shade when I am using Revlon's Nearly Naked Foundation in Sun Beige and L'oreal's Magique Lucent Foundation since is the the closest shade to them.  Those two shades are darker than my skin tone, way darker.  I'm NC25 but use dark shades on my skin since the foundation turns lighter on my skin when they start to oxidize.  This shade does cover my blemishes but you can still see a little redness on your face.

I got this Ben Nye concealer at The Style Quarter last year for about PhP750-790.  The price is worth it because it has 4 shades and you don't always see that on other concealers.  However, just make sure that this can match your skin tone.  It has another shade which is SK-1.  I've seen it in person and I don't think it matches my skin tone either.  But I don't know.  Maybe I'll try that when I finish this concealer.  Another thing that I find weird about this concealer is that it cakes up when set with Ben Nye Banana Luxury Powder.

Am I going to repurchase this product?  No.  I can't really say this product has really worked for me because it's moody when it wants to conceal my blemishes.  I'm just trying to finish this product because I don't want my money to go to waste.
