When I finally got a hold of 4u2 Cosmetics's BB Powder, I also bought their loose powder to try out. One of my realisations is that I prefer loose powder when setting liquid foundation.
I got the number 2 shade because I prefer a darker shade of face powder/foundation.
4u2 Cosmetics Dream Girl Touch Loose Powder
PhP194.00
loose powder on my face
Pros:
- very affordable at PhP194 only
- this product is alot although i don't remember how many grams this is
- has no weird scent
- blends well
- has a good staying power approximately 6 hours
- light to medium coverage
- keeps oil at bay for about 6 hours
- doesn't break me out
Cons:
- packaging looks cheap and too girly
- a bit bulky like most loose powders
I love this loose powder because it is able to even out the color of my skin tone when I am using my Missha BB cream. The BB Cream that I am currently using is lighter than my skin tone. And it doesn't help that is has a very high SPF which really gives me a white cast on flash photography. But since this loose powder is lighter than my skin tone, it balances it out.
At certain times when I don't feel like putting too much makeup or wearing heavy foundation, I use this alone. If you don't like the packaging, you can buy a sifter at the department store and just transfer it there. I'm thinking of doing that so it would be handy.
I highly suggest this loose powder especially if you are on a budget. I know I not that partial to drugstore makeup products, so when I really like something - I really really like it! I have been using this for months since I got this! I use this to set my BB Cream and my Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation. They go well together, thankfully!
