Makeup Basics: Filling in Brows

I uploaded a video last week on how I usually fill in and shape (a bit) my brows.  It's amazing and humbling at the same time how I get requests on how I fill in my brows because this is one of the things that I'm not confident in doing when it comes to makeup.  Until now, I'm still having a hard time shaping and filling in my brows.  It's such a chore that I hate.

But anyways, please watch the video for you to see!

I used In2it's eyebrow powder on this tutorial and I got several request to make a review about it.  I'll try to post my review within the week!

Food Escapade at Cibo

One rainy Friday night, Lawrence and I ended up having dinner at Cibo.  We originally wanted to dine where soup was served - preferably Chinese cuisine.  But I think we kind of got lazy going all the way to Mongkok when we were in Greenbelt 5. So we settled for Cibo.

Lawrence loves this restaurant especially their spinach dip!

Apologies for the lack of updates.  I'm just really busy since Last week of June due to BSP Audit, document deficiencies and account reviews.  I'll try to get back on track since it's a long weekend anyway.

Happy Sunday, loves!

Food Escapade at Nolita

The most talked about restaurants right now are those that are located at Bonifacio High Street Central. I told Lawrence that we will eat at all the restaurants there.

The first one that we tried was Nolita.  We were really supposed to eat at Cue but it was jam-packed at 6pm!  That early for dinner!  So we went upstairs and checked the other restaurants. Then we landed at Nolita.

Nolita means North Of Little Italy.  The restaurant is inspired from the pizza places that can be found in Little Italy in New York.  The owners of this restaurant are the same owners of Borough.

The people that make the pizza are Italians or foreigners at the very least.  This is a self-service restaurant.  You fall in line to order and pay and the food will be served to you.  Sometimes you will be asked to get it at their counter.

I used to live in the east coast - specifically in New York City and Jersey City.  Quite honestly, the restaurant is far from the pizza places there.  First of all, Nolita is way too classy for the usual Italian pizza place that can be found at Little Italy.  The restaurant is so clean, too!  Thumbs up for the foreigners that make the pizza and the self-service.  At least, they got that right.  But the dimness of the place? I don't know, I just don't remember pizza places in New York being THAT dim.  I also don't like the fact that the pasta was served in a bowl.  I've already mentioned that in my other food post.  It's just weird in every sense of the word.

Nolita aspires to be a pizza place in New York but please don't be fooled.  Other then the hefty price, I don't have any problems with the food.  Yes, they are as yummy as it look on the photos.  This might be a restaurant that you would look forward going back to but it's not your usual pizza place here in Manila like Pizza Hut anne Shakey's because of the price.

Nolita is located at the 2f of Bonifacio Hight Street Central and is open everyday.
