Jazzy Collection Aqua Cream Eyeshadow

I've always wanted to try Maybelline's Color Tattoo 24Hr Cream Gel Shadow but unfortunately, it's not available in the Philippines.  I've heard good reviews about it and I really wanted to get my hands on it.

I've tried Benefit's Creamless Cream Eyeshadow and even though it's a really good product, it costs PhP1,000 per eyeshadow.  Quite expensive.

So, I searched for a cream eyeshadow inside SM department store and came across Jazzy Collection.  They apparently have cream eyeshadows!  And a whole lot of color range, too!  So, I got myself one cream eyeshadow to test it out.

This cream eyeshadow is very disappointing.  It's such a waste of money.  Yes, it's pigmented really really pigmented.  Yes, it's creamy.  But it does not stay on your lids even with primer!  It's creases the moment you apply it on your lids.  I think it's the creaminess that makes it not stay on the lids.  I used this for only two days and then I gave up on it.  It really won't stay.  I didn't bother taking a photo of my eyes with this cream eyeshadow on cos it looks fugly.  FUGLY.

If you're planning to get this, think again.  I'd rather recommend Ever Bilena's cream eyeshadow than this one.

Happy Saturday, loves!

My Vanity Traincase

Remember this post?  On the first week of June, I finally bought another traincase with lights!  I've been wanting one for years but couldn't make up my mind if I was going to buy one or just get a new vanity table.  I also resorted to a DIY traincase with lights but I'm no handyman.

Originally, I thought of buying a traincase in Quiapo because I heard that it's way cheaper there.  But when we got to Quiapo, they were selling me the traincase for PhP17,000. Last price is PhP16,500! Like hello!  Suesh has a store near my house and it costs PhP16,000!  Quiapo is almost 2 hours away from my house and it's more expensive! So, I ditched the idea that everything is cheaper there cos it actually isn't.

I contacted the owner of Suesh, Sheryll, and told her that I'll be getting a traincase from Suesh.  Sh was very accommodating.  The traincase was already setup when I got to Suesh's showroom.

Here's a photo of myself in front of the traincase.  I was doing my makeup before filming a video at 1am! haha!

I decided to make a video showing my new traincase instead of just taking pictures! Please watch the videos so you can see what it looks like!

Suesh Angled Blush Brush

I'm particular when it comes to blush brushes.  The first makeup brush set that I bought had the usual round blush brush.  I never really liked the usual round blush brush but I used it anyway because it was the brush that I had.  Then I bought another makeup brush set (travel size) and it came with an angled brush.  That was when I fell in love with an angled blush brush.  However, it had white brush hair and it started to irk me cos it had discoloration due to makeup stain.

So, I searched for an angled blush brush with black/brown bristles or brush hair whatever you call it.

Then I saw Suesh's angled blush brush.

Believe it or not, I've had this since 2009.  I got this with a 20% discount at the Megatent bazaar.

I don't remember how much I got it for. I'm not sure if Suesh increased their price over time but I'm sure I got it for a discounted price!  It's a normal size brush and not a travel sized brush.  I use it every other month.  I alternate it with my angled blush brush with white hair.  Although I gotta admit that I used the latter more often because I wanna wear it out completely so at least I could say that it was really worth my money.  And now that my angled brush with white hair is kind of giving up on me - it's a bit scratchy now and it's starting to shed like whoa - I decided to use my Suesh angled brush everyday.

I'm telling you this brush is a good buy!  It's not at all scratchy.  Shedding is very minimal.  I so love the fact that makeup stain is not obvious at all on this brush.  I always looks clean.  Believe it or not, I took those product shots after I applied bronzer and blush without wiping or tapping the excess makeup off the brush.  True story.

I wouldn't have second thoughts about buying this brush again if ever something happens to my angled blush brush!

You can visit http://suesh.multiply.com to see Suesh makeup products. They also have a store along Wilson Street, Greenhills and Alabang Town Center.
