I lost more than half of my Charm brushes two or three weeks ago. Then today, my short handled MAC 190 decided to fall off when I was putting on makeup this morning.
I think I can glue it to make it stick but the strands are separating into several partitions when I tried to put it back. Hassle.

Use a thin piece of plastic (like from a plastic bag) to wrap the brush head when sliding into the ferrule. Once it's in, pull the plastic out. Voila! (:
