As you can see, it looks red on my lips - totally different from the shade of the lipstick on the first photo. I applied it twice on my lips to even out the color. What I like about Tea Rose though is that it's the kind of red that I know I can wear during day time and not be conscious about it. I like my MAC Russian Red and YSL Rouge Volupte #17 but I can't wear them during day time. To keep one of the principles of makeup, I opted not to put eyeshadow today since I'm wearing a red lipstick (or at least that's what it appears on my lips) so that the attention woule be on the lips.

Love the colour, even though it seems more pink than red to me ^^
ReplyDeletewhat a pretty shade, looks great! :)
ReplyDeleteIt does look much darker on your lips than the lipstick photo! It's a pretty colour on you :}

ReplyDelete@ Carine and Mia: yup the color is love :)
ReplyDelete@ Tammy: Thanks! Though sometimes I still think it's too dark to be worn during daytime. Lovely color nonetheless :)
@ teeyah: really? oh noes! but I can see the photos tho. I'll upload photos using photobucket or tinypic moving forward. thanks for letting me know! :)
It seems really bright on you! But still pretty :)I have this lippie too, on me it shows up as more pink than red.
ReplyDeleteIt looks really nice on you!! I'm also a bit scared of red lips =P
ReplyDelete@ ~Lisa: thanks :)
ReplyDeletebakit kaya it looks like a pinkish red on you? kasi sa akin its parang a nude milky pink! hehe..
ReplyDeleteThat's so strange, I use Tea Rose all the time and it doesn't look red at all!
